From the Art with Attitude Series
This series was created during a period when I was experiencing rejecting and questioning whether the world around would truly invest in my work. Rather than change myself to become more acceptable, I responded through the paintings.
Veto Blue, Say Less and I Don’t Compromise came from a decision that I would continue creating whether I was recognized or not. They are expressions of refusal, refusal to sell out, give in, or allow someone’s else’s belief in me to determine my belief in myself.
