I have always honor Black women for their presence, strength, and immeasurable contributions to life. For the countless roles they have carried, the sacrifices they have made, and the extraordinary power they possess as creators, protectors, nurturers, and leaders.
While I have explored these ideas in previous works, Oracle is my attempt to express that admiration through a Neo-Expressionist and contemporary lens. Using Afrocentric symbolism, the painting celebrates the Divine Feminine as an eternal force that transcends time—moving through the past, present, and future as mother, warrior, guide, and guardian.
At its heart, Oracle is a tribute to the women whose wisdom, resilience, and love continue to shape generations and preserve the legacy of humanity itself.
