Still I Stand
Some of us cry with a straight face to not to let our weakness inside overthrow our strengths. We fear if it does, it will become us and that makes us vulnerable. We've been traumatized to understand that life eats the weak. There wasn't a balance taught to know how to allow ourselves to be weak in times when we can be vulnerable and times when we should have strength. We weren't really taught emotional intelligence. So with life, we learned in our own ways, the best way we could to grow through our traumas and from that here we still stand. And so do our traumas.
