The Collector’s Selection
I painted this horse around the concept of becoming strong enough to get through things that are tough. The painterly style I chose to use is a representation of the grit and the toughness that we all must become strong enough to get through, in order for our dreams to come true. This horse is not fighting against the tides or the flow of life. It’s going with the stride of the hardship. To let the hardship become part of its experience, not running from it, but towards it. To learn and become aware of its own strengths and weaknesses within it. For the hardship to become a part of what makes it stronger. To me, this is what it means be a thoroughbred.

Part of a new set of paintings, I didn't plan this series, it's kinda been flowing out of me. I gave myself freedom to express and explore styles without limits. In this sense, I understood more about the concept, “happy mistakes”. I felt like I could paint almost anything I could imagine, like every stroke was meant to be, setting a stage for the next one but leaving no stroke to be overlooked in it’s beauty and performance. Of course I had fun painting these pieces, but more importantly, I had peace. In knowing that I was finished with each one, without looking back. And just like in this piece, I've done all I’ve desired to do and I’m satisfied with that. The type of internal growth as creators I believe we shouldn't take for granted.

Hard Drive captures the relentless pursuit of forward motion. A powerful cheetah races across a layered landscape of digital pathways and heartbeat rhythms, symbolizing the connection between instinct, ambition, and perseverance. The red pulse lines represent life’s challenges, victories, and moments of intensity, while the cheetah embodies focus, determination, and the courage to keep moving despite obstacles.
This piece serves as a reminder that progress is not always measured by speed alone, but by the willingness to continue the journey when others stop.

The elephant has long been regarded as a symbol of leadership, memory, resilience, and generational legacy. In this piece, its forward stride represents the journey of those who continue moving despite obstacles, carrying the lessons of the past while creating a path for those who follow. The accompanying cranes, symbols of grace, longevity, and spiritual guidance, reinforce the idea that true power is rooted in both strength and wisdom.
Rendered in a striking monochromatic palette with touches of gold, Stomping Grounds explores the balance between authority and humility, reminding viewers that the greatest footprints are often left by those who walk with purpose.
This artwork serves as a reflection on legacy, perseverance, and the responsibility of shaping the ground future generations will inherit.

This piece is about attraction — but in a way that helps people see themselves clearer.
What we consistently focus on doesn’t just pass through us… it builds us. Perspective forms patterns. Patterns produce results. And those results start attracting more of the same energy into our lives.
We don’t randomly end up where we are.
What people entertain becomes sweet. What becomes sweet becomes normal. And what becomes normal quietly multiplies — shaping habits, circles, opportunities, and even the distractions we accept.
The shift happens when you realize some of what you’re chasing may have been planted in you long before you questioned it. And once you see that, you gain power. You can choose what to keep cultivating and what to release.
That awareness sharpens vision.
And with clearer vision, you don’t just attract differently — you begin becoming differently.
So the real question becomes:
What are you consciously choosing to cultivate now?

From the Nappy by Nature Series
When I painted this, I was searching for balance—I realized I’d been pouring so much of myself outward, getting lost in the noise, that I forgot what it meant to be still inside. Her arms, crossed in the eagle pose, became the exact expression I needed—hands meeting above her, anchoring her in balance. The trees inside her hair, blooming in magenta, are the light I never saw in my own darkness until I found that quiet. I chose the purple and blue because they’re the calm I needed—beauty, yes, but a beauty tied to knowing yourself. This painting isn’t just about me; it’s about anyone who’s ever felt lost in the noise, and who needs to remember that balance, that light, is always inside. This is what I believe it means to be centered.

Hair expression has been part of us, especially black women for generations, facing trials of ridicule, resentment, and even hate simply because of its nature. Which is to grow, and yet the hair of black women still holds dominance in our culture today. It brings them a sense of pride, beauty, fashion, and freedom. All to be the expression of one's self. No matter how many times others like the Tignon law have tried to take that away from them. Like nature, there is no getting rid of the beauty and natural connection in growth hair embodies them. Black women have overcome so much and stood on business for what they've believed in Without the help of a man. And we must salute that because that's what Alpha stands for.

“Chosen” is a moment suspended in reverence. The elephant, a timeless symbol of wisdom, loyalty, and memory, gently holds the crown—not as a decoration, but as a declaration. It leans in with grace, not force, to place the crown on the woman's head, affirming what she already is: worthy, powerful, chosen.
Her head bows—not in submission, but in awareness. A quiet surrender to truth. She does not reach for the crown, nor claim it. Because being chosen isn’t about pursuit. It’s about presence. You don’t ask for it. You simply are.
Bold colors mirror her inner royalty, while the circle formed by the elephant’s trunk reflects continuity, protection, and honor. This piece stands as a tribute to those born with purpose—those who carry something sacred, whether or not the world sees it.

Have you ever created something that impressed others but left you feeling indifferent? Moments like these challenge our connection with our gifts and make us question our accomplishments.
It’s important to recognize that while our achievements showcase our capabilities to the world, our gifts reveal who we are meant to become within it. This realization invites us to break free from familiar patterns, disrupt the rules, and reshape how we use our gifts—not just to create but to refine them.
What we’ve done before may seem less remarkable to us because we strive to become more than what we’ve already achieved. The question then arises: What more can we do if we’re only repeating what we know?
This painting invites you to reflect on that question, to look inward, and to discover the next evolution of your gifts—for yourself and for the world.

Sometimes we allow the weight of the world to turn us into hardened, silent versions of ourselves, quietly affected but never truly speaking our minds. Instead, we carry hidden or unknown grudges that no one can see.
Through this work, I explore the idea that genuine healing begins with honesty—being truthful with yourself. Maybe then we can begin to understand how your traumas shape us and recognize the silent ways they influence our life. By pulling back the veil that the world places over us, we can begin to change the narrative—rejecting societal norms that dictate how we should cope with pain. This painting symbolizes the unveiling of that false identity, a step toward freedom and self-awareness.

In its rawest layers, it embraces a looser, more expressive approach influenced by Neo-Expressionism, allowing both instinct and intention to coexist on the canvas. This freedom of mark-making creates space for symbolism, emotion, and narrative to emerge without restraint, while still communicating the concepts exactly as envisioned.
Rooted in themes of Afro-Futurism and fatherhood, the work weaves together iconic symbols of Black history, culture, and identity as visual expressions of legacy, responsibility, and self-discovery. Existing between the past, present, and future, Messiah reflects the ongoing journey of protecting what matters most—family, culture, and purpose.
A reminder that some values are worth preserving and defending by any means necessary.
